What is a Fast Money Auction?

 

Fast money auctions are a great way to bring buyers and sellers together to sell excess items and to get great deals on new and pre-owned items.

Sellers:  Fast Money auctions are an exciting way to sell excess inventory from your home or business and receive money the SAME DAY.   Unlike a tag/estate sales or newspaper ads, you do not need to worry pricing.  Competitive bidding will bring fair market value to your items. 

 

Buyers:  This is an opportunity to purchase a wide variety of new and pre owned items at a price you want to pay. 

 
How can I view the items that will be in the auction?

Items are available for preview one hour before the auction starts.  There will not be internet preview for these auctions.

How to I obtain a bidder card?  Is there a charge to attend?
There is never a charge to bid at any our auctions.  It is free and fun entertainment for the whole family.

 

To receive a bidder card, you will need to show a valid picture ID and provide us with a valid telephone number.    Photo copy of your license will be taken at registration and returned to you upon check out.



I have never bid at an auction before.  How do I bid?
When the Auctioneers announces an item you wish to bid on, you need to hold your card high in the air, in the direction of the Auctioneer and/or Bid Assistants until you are recognized with verbal and/or non-verbal communication acknowledging your bid.  Repeat this process each time you wish to bid until you are the successful bidder or the bidding on the items is more than you are willing to pay.

We will offer new bidder orientation 20 minute before auction time.


When do I have to pay for the items that I have purchased?

Payment is due in full by the conclusion of the auction.  You may check out at anytime during the auction once you have made all of your purchases.  Any items taken from the auction that are not paid for will be treated as theft.

What forms of payment will be accepted at Fast Money Auctions?
At our Fast Money Auctions - we will only accept CASH.  Checks and credit cards will not be accepted.

When can I pick up items purchased at the Fast Cash Auction?
Items are available for pick up immediately once your items have been paid for.  All items are expected to be removed from the premises within 45 minutes of the end of the auction.   If arrangements need to be made to pick up your items at a later time, please see a staff member.  Items that are scheduled to be picked up at a later time must be picked up within 48 hours.  We are not responsible for damages or theft of any items not picked up. 

Who is able to sell items at the Fast Cash Auction?
You must be 18 years of age and provide a valid picture id.  Fast Money Auctions are a super solution for those who want money fast!

I want to sell at the Fast Money Auction.  How do I do I do it?

It’s easy.  All you need to do complete a Fast Money Auction Agreement and show a valid ID.  Space is limited so pre registration guarantees you a space.  All spaces are first come, first served.

 

If you have sold with us before, you will be required to sign a Fast Money Auction agreement since the terms and conditions are different.

Now that I have signed up – what do I do next?

There are 5 easy steps to selling at a Fast Money Auction.

 

1)     Sign a one time required Fast Money contract.

2)    On auction day you come 2 hours before the auction start. You will be assigned an area to set up & display your items.  You supply your own tables & displays.  It is up to you to decide how to display & sell your merchandise.  Bidders are looking for value so feel free to make up box lots of several items if you would like.  The better the value, the better the bid.

3)    You know your items better than anybody, so during preview promote your items and answer any questions from prospective buyers.  Someone must be present at your area at all times.

4)    After your items have sold, you remove all unsold products.  You are responsible for your own discard.  We do not provide disposal services. Settlement will not be made until this is done.

5)    Once the auction has been closed and settled, you collect your CASH.

How is selling at your Fast Money Auction different than selling at your regular Friday night auctions?

Our Fast Money Auctions pays you the same day as the auction in CASH. You can also sell what you want to sell (within legal and moral guidelines).  No animals. food, or used clothing please.   We do ask, to keep the quality of the auction, that you do not bring JUNK.  All items will sell to the highest bidder.  We will not accept reserves at Fast Money Auctions.


How much do you charge to sell at a Fast Money Auction?

The commission rate is 35%.  We do not charge a buyer’s premium at Fast Money Auctions.

What are some suggestions of thing to sell at a Fast Money Auction?

Tools, Electronics, Furniture, Antiques, Collectibles, Coins, Jewellery, Toys, Bikes, Lawn & Garden, Household Items, Collections, Business Inventory, New Items, and anything else you can think of.  Remember – quality items only.


 

On auction day – how do you sell my items?

Just like days of auctions past, the auctioneer will travel space to space.  At each table, the auctioneer will pick items from your space to sell individually.  After that, the auctioneer will offer rounds of choice.  Finally, the auctioneer will sell the balance (if you request) or move on to the next vendor.
